A property in North Capitol Hill has been the subject of frequent code-enforcement activity over the last four years. Between April 2019 and June 2023, city officials opened 38 code-enforcement cases at 1644 N Pennsylvania St.

The majority of these cases did not result in a confirmed violation. City records show 21 cases closed with no violation found, were unjustified, or were rescinded. Additionally, six cases were closed as duplicates.

Of the total cases, 10 were substantiated. These confirmed violations primarily involved overflow dumpsters and trash, with single instances of snow and ice on sidewalks, landscaping issues, and outdoor storage.

Current records indicate three cases remain unresolved. Two of these are currently in collections, while one remains in progress.
