Denver has approved a resolution to roll over $340,705.06 of unspent Year 2 funds to the Year 3 budget for the Colorado Health Network. This decision supports the expansion of its harm reduction program, Access Point, to meet increased demand for services at its brick and mortar facility and through mobile outreach.
The move aims to provide significant benefits for people who use drugs (PWUD) by expanding the program's reach in the community. No changes to the contract term or capacity are planned, and the funds will be used to address barriers to service access.
