Two properties in the Gateway-Green Valley Ranch area are shifting their zoning designations to allow for new types of development.

The change affects 17600 East 56th Avenue and 4991 North Telluride Street. Residents in the Green Valley Ranch area should note that these parcels are moving from C-MU-10 and C-MU-30 (commercial mixed-use) designations to S-MX-5 and S-MX-8 (split-mixed use).

City Council has already approved the bill for Council District 11, though the finalization of the process was postponed until June 8, 2026.
