Denver City Council has approved a bill to authorize the Manager of Finance to execute and deliver City and County of Denver Series 2024A Certificates of Participation, up to $90 million, for acquiring the Denver Post Building at 101 W. Colfax Avenue.

The transaction includes associated costs of issuance and is intended for Council District 10. The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period was on April 1, 2024.

The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on February 27, 2024. The lease involves both a Facilities Lease and a Lease Purchase Agreement between the Denver Public Facilities Leasing Trust 2024A and the City and County of Denver.
