Commuters on East 28th Avenue no longer have to dodge potholes between North York Street and North Steele Street.
The completion of this repaving project removes a construction hurdle for residents and visitors traveling through the 80211 zip code, improving safety and vehicle wear for those navigating this corridor.
Managed by the city's Transportation & Mobility department, the project focused on refreshing the pavement across this specific segment. Lukas Schroeder served as the applicant for the work, which spanned from early 2020 through late 2020. The city has officially marked this phase as finished, with no further construction scheduled for this stretch of road.
Residents can attend public meetings related to city transportation matters at Denver City Hall or find more project details via the city's Capital Projects portal.
