On March 27, 2026, the City of Framingham will host a community art project at the Framingham Public Library. Local artists Julia Csekő and Raquel Fornasaro will lead participants in creating a house-shaped public art installation focused on sustainability. Attendees will design a wood shingle using stenciling supplies, which will be part of the final installation.

The project, titled 'A Home for Our Future Generations,' is sponsored by Framingham and Natick. It is funded by Mass Save’s Community First Partnership and aims to promote energy conservation through community engagement. The Framingham installation will be displayed in the green space next to Village Hall on the Common in spring 2026.

Workshops will also be held in schools, libraries, and public spaces, combining art with education on energy-saving actions and Mass Save programs. Registration is available at http://www.framinghamma.gov/HFGlibrary.
