On March 11, 2026, Framingham will host a collaborative public art event titled 'A Home for Our Future Generations.' The event will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Callahan Center, 535 Union Avenue. Led by artists Julia Csekő and Raquel Fornasaro, participants will create painted shingles that will become part of a large, home-shaped community installation.
The project aims to explore energy conservation through creativity while offering practical tips on improving energy efficiency. Once completed, the artwork will be unveiled in spring 2026 on the Framingham Common near Village Hall.
